Our STEM Careers Week includes online Q&A sessions between students and four panels of people from leading companies in Ireland’s medical devices, games, energy and cybersecurity sectors.
If you ask a question in one of these sessions, you’ll be in with a chance to win a Nokia Lumia 800 phone.
The prize will go to the best question asked by a second-level student to any of the four panels. The questions are completely up to you. To enter, simply ask your question online in any one of the four Q&A sessions.
Rules of the competition
- The Nokia Lumia 800 competition is open to all second-level students attending school in Ireland.
- The prize is a Nokia Lumia 800 phone.
- All questions must be submitted on the Smartfutures.ie website, and the closing date for questions is 28 September 2012.
- The Smart Futures team will ask the panellists on each of the four panels to nominate their best question; from these, Discover Science & Engineering will then pick the best one.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no discussion will be entered into either pre or post competition.
- By making an entry, you agree that if you are a winner you give us permission to publish your name and the name of your school on our website.
- The competition is not open to the sponsors, employees or partner organisers of the Smart Futures campaign.
- Prizes cannot be substituted, have no cash value, are non-transferrable and are not redeemable for cash.
- The Smart Futures campaign reserves the right to terminate this competition at any time without prior notice, and reserves the right to alter competition rules or prizes at any time.
