Founded in 2008 and based in Kilbeggan, County Westmeath, IPC is Europe’s only independent supplier of compounded plastic materials for use in the medical device sector.
Manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality Systems, its polymer materials find their way into applications in cardiovascular tubing and mouldings, as well a wide range of other medical devices.
IPC supplies both material manufacturers and medical device OEMs with highly specified plastic materials – usually to the customer specifications. The company also works in R&D with its customers’ engineers and marketing teams to develop new materials for future applications.
Bio absorbable material for drug delivery, and specialised wound dressings are among IPC#s recent applications. IPC currently supplies materials to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Finland, Turkey, Switzerland and China.
